This application offers a systematic approach to determining optimal jetting configurations for KTM 2-stroke motocross and enduro motorcycles, including models such as SX, SXS, EXC, XC, and MXC. It utilizes input parameters such as temperature, altitude, humidity, atmospheric pressure, and oil-mix ratio to generate tailored recommendations.

To facilitate accurate data collection, the app can leverage device location services—using GPS or WiFi—to automatically acquire the rider’s current position and altitude. Additionally, it can connect to external weather stations via network access to retrieve real-time atmospheric data. The application also permits manual input of weather conditions when automatic retrieval is unavailable or undesired.

The user interface is organized into four primary tabs:

• Results: Displays recommended main jet size, needle type and clip position (specified in turns from fully tightened), pilot jet, and air screw position. The screw position is indicated in turns. These recommendations are derived from the weather conditions and engine specifications entered in subsequent tabs. The tab also provides the calculated real main jet value with decimal precision, along with current air density and density altitude metrics. An adjustment feature allows fine-tuning based on individual engine characteristics.
• Weather: Enables manual entry of current temperature, atmospheric pressure, altitude, and humidity. Alternatively, these values can be imported automatically from connected weather stations via the GPS tab.
• Engine: Allows specification of engine model details—including year, model variant, and carburetor type—as well as the oil-mix ratio used.
• GPS: Facilitates automatic acquisition of geographic location and altitude through device sensors. It also connects to external sources to fetch weather data pertinent to the current position.

The application supports multiple measurement units: Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F) for temperature; meters and feet for altitude; mb, hPa, mmHg, inHg, and atm for pressure readings.
